Mission

To assist registered providers by providing quality training; advocating for and protecting the rights of providers as they relate to childcare.

The Prince George’s County Family Child Care Association, Inc. was founded in 1979 and recognized as a voice for Registered Family Child Care Providers in the County and the State.

The PGCFCCA, Inc. voting members are comprised of family child care providers that hold a current certificate of registration issued by the Maryland State Department of Education.

Associate members are comprised of spouses, substitutes, parent, childcare advocates, educators and other interested parties in the child care field. Associate members do not have voting rights.

We are a self funded organization that relies entirely on our membership fee and fund raising for our financial needs. We believe there is strength numbers.
